SMC Doulas Training – August 3 – 30, 2026

Please provide a physical street address in the U.S. where the SMC Training Manual can be sent. Please note we cannot deliver to post office boxes or APO/FPO in the U.S. If your shipping address is outside of the U.S., an handling additional fee of $ 25.00 plus the cost of shipping will be charged prior to shipping the Training Manual.

By registering for any of our training programs, you agree that your image, likeness, and sound of your voice as recorded on audio or video tape can be used by SMC Doulas for promotional and educational purposes, without payment or any other consideration. You also understand your image may be edited, copied, exhibited, published, or distributed and waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein your likeness appears; waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of your image or recording.

A refund request must be made in writing within 24 hours of your payment ONLY. Full refunds will be issued less an administrative fee of $100.00. Your request MUST include your full legal name and email address. Your request MUST be emailed to support@smcdoulas.com. Before a refund is issued, unopened/unused materials and the SMC Full Circle Doula Birth Companion Training manual MUST be returned at your own expense. You may elect to transfer the dates of your training if you inform us at least 14 days prior to the start date of your training, as long as the training you wish to transfer to is equal to the same price of the training you originally registered for and you select training dates that are available within one (1) year of the request. You may transfer the dates of your training only once and your training is otherwise non-transferable or redeemable. To make a one-time request to transfer your training dates, your request MUST be emailed to support@smcdoulas.com.

Upon completion of your training, your name, headshot, and additional information will automatically be added to the publicly accessible SMC Doula Directory available on our website and through the SMC Doula Network mobile app. You may opt out of the directory or select which specific information you prefer to be publicly visible at any time by logging into your account on the SMC website or mobile app and updating your user preferences. 1) I will attend all scheduled classes. The trainer has the discretion to decide if I am meeting participation requirements and receive a Certificate of Completion. 2) I will actively participate during class. 3) I will honor group agreements established on the first day of the training session. 4) I will keep all information shared in class confidential. Take the lesson, leave the stories. 5) I will not record any of the class. 6) I consent to SMC recording class sessions and understand that portions of the recordings may be used for educational, training, and promotional purposes.

1) I will attend all scheduled class sessions. If I am going to arrive late (more than 10 minutes) or be absent, it is my responsibility to communicate that in advance of a session. Should I miss one or two sessions, I understand I may be asked to complete makeup work and catch up on any missed material on my own. The trainer has the discretion to decide if I am meeting participation requirements and receive a Certificate of Completion. 2) I will actively participate during class including in breakout rooms. Have my camera on for majority of the class session and will participate in break out rooms. 3) I will honor group agreements established at our first meeting. 4) I will keep all information shared in class confidential. Take the lesson, leave the stories. 5) I will not record any of the class sessions. Each class member will have access to recordings of the sessions in the learning portal for the duration of the course. 6) I consent to SMC recording class sessions and understand that portions of the recordings may be used for educational, training, and promotional purposes. 7) I will complete all class homework in a timely manner. 8) I understand I must complete the course by the last day of the course and any extension granted will be a limited one and pursuant to our Extension Policy.
