About Me

Hi my name is Kadjatu (Khad-jah-two) I also go by Kadja. I was born in Sierra Leone and raised in NYC since ‘06. I felt empowered to train with an organization that aims to learn and build upon the legacy of the African American midwife and bring a level of awareness to the bias Black women face when delivering their babies. I’ve always been an eager proactive learner, problem solver and I bring my enthusiasm to learn from others. I hope to support and advocate for mothers and families in the transition of bringing their baby Earth-side, develop rapport with clients and to join a community of birth companions. Let's connect 🙂
