Hi, my name is Sa’Mirah, I’m a licensed massage therapist and have been in the field for almost 2 years now, I absolutely love being a massage therapist. I’m from Indianapolis, Indiana for now but plan on moving to another state within the next few years. I have wanted to become a doula since I watched an episode of The Resident and I watched this mother be overlooked, dismissed, and ultimately killed by negligence. From that day forward I knew I had to find a way to change that and years later I had the opportunity of getting a scholarship to be apart of this amazing community.

I don’t have kids of my own but I do have a stepdaughter and making sure she knows how valuable her word is absolutely imperative. I look forward to learning, growing and merging the two fields together. I believe bodywork is more than just relaxing, its a spiritual experience, this will allow me the chance to really connect mind, body, spirit and soul for the best outcome for mom and baby.
