Media Release, Cancellation & Refund Policies

MEDIA RELEASE FOR ALL SMC PROGRAMS & CONFERENCES

By registering for any of our training programs or other events, you agree that your image, likeness, and sound of your voice as recorded on audio or video tape can be used by SMC Doulas for promotional and educational purposes, without payment or any other consideration. You also understand your image may be edited, copied, exhibited, published, or distributed and waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein your likeness appears; waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of your image or recording.

DOULA TRAINING CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

A refund request must be made in writing within 24 hours of the date of your initial training registration ONLY. Full refunds will be issued less an administrative fee of $100.00. Your request MUST include your full legal name and email address.Your request MUST be emailed to support@smcdoulas.com. Before a refund is issued, unopened/unused materials and the SMC Full Circle Doula Birth Companion Training manual MUST be returned at your own expense. Mail to SMC 3519 NE 15th Avenue, Suite 193, Portland, OR 97212. No refunds can be issued after 24 hours of the date of your initial training registration.

ONE-TIME DOULA TRAINING TRANSFER REQUESTS

You may elect to transfer the dates of your training if you inform us at least 14 days prior to the start date of your training, as long as the training you wish to transfer to is equal to the same price of the training you originally registered for and you select training dates that are available within one (1) year of the request. You may transfer the dates of your training only once and your training is otherwise non-transferable or redeemable. To make a one-time request to transfer your training dates, your request MUST be emailed to support@smcdoulas.com.

WEBINAR REFUND & ACCESS POLICY

All SMC Doula Webinar programs and offerings are non-refundable. Please also note all recorded webinars must be accessed and viewed within 14 days of purchase. After 14 days, you will no longer have access to any webinar you purchase.

CONFERENCE CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

We will refund any registration and other fees paid for SMC-sponsored conferences provided a) you make a refund request within thirty (30) days of your registration and b) the refund request is made at least thirty (30) days before the date of the conference. No refunds will be made outside of these timeframes. Any refund request must be made in writing and emailed to support@smcdoulas.com. Any refund issued for conference purchases will be subject to a $100 administrative fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount. 

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION TRANSFERABILITY

Conference registrations are transferable provided the transfer request is received by SMC Doulas at least thirty (30) days before the conference date. Any transfer request must be made in writing and emailed to support@smcdoulas.com.
