As a condition of registration and participation in this course, all students will be required to grant permission to the rights of their image, likeness and sound of their voice as recorded on audio or video tape without payment or any other consideration. Students understand that their image may be edited, copied, exhibited, published or distributed and waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein their likeness appears; waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of their image or recording. Students will be required to sign a release which can be reviewed here.

A refund request must be made in writing within 24 hours of your payment ONLY. Full refunds will be issued less an administrative fee of $100.00. Your request MUST include your full legal name and email address. Your request MUST be emailed to info@smcdoulas.com. Before a refund is issued, unopened/unused materials, and SMC Full Circle Doula Birth Companion Training manual MUST be returned at your own expense. 1) I will attend all scheduled classes. The trainer has the discretion to decide if I am meeting participation requirements and receive a Certificate of Completion. Actively participate during class. 2) I will honor group agreements established on the first day of the training session. 3) I will keep all information shared in class confidential. Take the lesson, leave the stories. 4) I will not record any of the class. 5) I consent to SMC recording class sessions and understand that portions of the recordings may be used for educational, training, and promotional purposes.

1) I will attend all scheduled class sessions. If I am going to arrive late (more than 10 minutes) or be absent, it is my responsibility to communicate that in advance of a session. Should I miss one or two sessions, I understand I may be asked to complete makeup work and catch up on any missed material on my own. The trainer has the discretion to decide if I am meeting participation requirements and receive a Certificate of Completion. Actively participate during class including in breakout rooms. Have my camera on for majority of the class session and will participate in break out rooms. 2) I will honor group agreements established at our first meeting. 3) I will keep all information shared in class confidential. Take the lesson, leave the stories. 4) I will not record any of the class sessions. Each class member will have access to recordings of the sessions in the learning portal for the duration of the course. 5) I consent to SMC recording class sessions and understand that portions of the recordings may be used for educational, training, and promotional purposes. 6) I will complete all class homework in a timely manner. 7) I understand I must complete the course by the last day of the course and any extension granted will be a limited one and pursuant to our Extension Policy.
